Why Ski Bliss?

There are a thousand different holiday companies, so how do you know which is right for you?

Whilst I'm not in the habit of turning away interested clientele, I dont believe that one size fits all.

Our holidays are aimed primarily at groups of friends and families who enjoy relaxed chalet holidays, where the skiing is great, and so is the food and the company.

St Gervais is a beautiful, unspoilt and quaint Alpine town. For families there is a super little creche and ski school, quiet and well groomed pistes, and some great mountains restaurants.
If you're after a crazy apres-ski and wild nightlife, then I highly recommend Val D'Isere or St Anton, they're great resorts, but its not really what we do here.

Though I offer 4-course meals and champagne on arrival, I also enjoy cooking for more modest tastes, If all you really want is a home-baked cake every afternoon and a lovely simple dinner in the evening, then I'm more than happy to oblige. Our meals are fresh and delicious, so if you are happy paying for quality, but aren't interested in a "seven course gourmet dining experience" then this is for you.

We don't look after many billionaires here, your chalet wont come with ensuite jacuzzis, swedish saunas or a maid to run around after you cleaning up as you go. Instead, they are welcoming, comfortable and spacious; beautifully furninshed, warm and clean.

You will not be waited on hand-and-foot here. I believe in, and commit to, the highest level of personal service, but I also know how you value your space; so I wont be in and out every five minutes, meaning that your chalet really is your home for the week.

If, like me, you hate three-hour journeys from the airport, then you'll love our private transfers. You'll be whisked from the arrivals lounge to the chalet in under an hour, and with refreshments in the minibus. You can also forget thise painful hours spent waiting in line at the hire shop for crappy 3rd rate equipment. We use the best ski shop in town, nothing but brand new equipment, a specific appointment time so we get the shop to ourselves. Plus I can give you a lift to and from the shop with your kit if you want.

As for the important stuff, the skiing: St Gervais and the Evasion Mont Blanc offers you 450km of pistes. The area is predominantly suited to improving beginners and intermediates who enjoy being able to ski or board the whole mountain-range on empty runs without horrible blacks or icy blind corners.
However... I wouldn't live here if there wasn't a lot of top quality advanced terrain, so if thats what you're after, then we can go find plenty of tough stuff. Read more in the ski area section
