Food
Great food is very important in any self-respecting ski holiday, and I take a huge amount of pride in the quality of your meals.
"The food was exceptional; delicious and varied. Jamie was a great host and chef ... We were absolutely delighted with our Ski Bliss experience" - The Wylie family - April 2010
As a chef, my menus are centred around the quality of the ingredients. There are occasions where a long and complicated cooking method can produce wonderful results; but I prefer the unfussy and uncomplicated. I take the best raw ingredients and complementary flavours to produce fresh and delicious meals.
Living in the mountains, my health is also important, and I know that Alpine food can often bee overly rich and healthy, so I endeavour to always use organic local produce, with healthy cooking methods where possible, and can cater to any diet (I eat a mainly vegetarian diet myself)
The beauty of being a small company is that I can offer you such a high level of flexibility, and nowhere is this more evident than with the food.
Before you come out I will personally speak to you and learn all I can about your culinary likes and dislikes to help me design your personal menu.
Do you want a curry night or a traditional fondue? A big roast dinner with all the trimmings or simple child-friendly food? Even an early meal one night so you can get to the ice hockey match?
Add to that a selection of complementary wines and beers, a beautiful setting, and some good company; and you have a real treat every night.
